History of Bendix

Bendix Corporation was formed nearly a century ago in 1927 by automotive engineer Vincent Bendix. In 1930, the company merged with Westinghouse Automotive Air Brake and set up headquarters in Wilmerding, PA.

Over the decades, Bendix has continued to expand and merge with other corporations, including Honeywell and Knorr-Bremse. This progress has allowed for global expansion and the opportunity to continuously strive for better products.

Today, Bendix employs over 3,200 people and is a worldwide leader in supplying vehicle safety systems for commercial vehicles. There are currently known in full as Bendix Commerical Vehicle Systems, LLC.

All claims should be submitted within 30 days of discovering the problem. Additionally, Bendix requires at least 30 days for resolution of the claim.
